You may recognize Leanne as one of her classes was recently featured on Lakeland news.

Here is her interview:

What would you classify your yoga style as?
Vinyasa flow with a focus on pairing your movement with your breath. Laid back and relaxed pace.

What is your favorite yoga pose?
Savasana.. but also tree pose and headstand

How has yoga changed your life?
It helped me learn more about myself, helped me train myself to focus my mind and how to relax

What do you look for in a yoga teacher/class?
Variety in the poses, creating an open and relaxing environment

What is the most important lesson yoga has taught you?
Yoga has taught me to focus less on the outcome and more on the process

What do you want students to know before coming to your class?
You do not need to know how to do yoga, be "good" at yoga, be flexible, have good balance etc. The reasons you might avoid coming are exactly the reasons you should come! All levels are welcome in my classes. I HIGHLY encourage making it your own, taking modifications that make each position more or less challenging depending on where you are at.

What do you hope your students gain from attending class?
Improved health - physically, mentally, spiritually.

What is the biggest myth about yoga?
That you can be "good" at yoga its a practice and so much more than achieving a pose. Or that it is only for certain body types.

How is yoga different than other physical exercise? How is it similar?
Yoga is usually low impact. It combines flexibility, strength, balance and at times cardio.

What do you do for fun (outside of yoga)?
I love to run, be outside (camping, hiking, hunting), bake, swing dancing, spend time with family and friends

How do you integrate yoga into your everyday life?
BREATHING. Helps me so much to stay calm during stressful or overwhelming situations.
